A book with a theme song!

I officially started writing book two tonight. I have a little over 1000 words already (only 99,000 to go!).

Although this book is influenced quite a bit by the Monterey Pop Festival, the "theme" song for the book is Nada Surf's "Always Love".

The book is basically a love story. Love between two couples and love between a daughter and her father. I am always trying to figure out love. Why sometimes it comes so easily and sometimes it is so hard. Everyone has different kinds of love in their lives - and you treat that love differently. Sometimes there are hard feelings when things go wrong, sometimes you just know that's the path you are supposed to take. It is so interesting to me. (I guess that's why I am writing a book about it)

I like it. But it is just the beginning. It's always good at the beginning.

But it is good to write again. I can forget about the rejection and focus on the writing. It is the part that matters to me anyway.
